Phyllis Chapell & Ken Ulansey express their excitement for world music, The injection of Ken Ulansey’s saxophone, clarinet, and penny whistle talents add a special touch to this repertoire. In addition to all manner of world music, they draw upon their Jewish roots with expression of songs of the Jewish tradition with songs from the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe. They play as a duo and all the way up to a 5-8 piece ensemble.
